Riyadh, February 13, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Human Capability Development Program (HCDP) has announced the third edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI), scheduled for May 3–4, 2026, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.
The conference, themed “The Human Code,” will focus on three pillars: safeguarding human connection, reasoning through complexity, and creating value to preserve human contribution and purpose. HCI aims to attract over 15,000 visitors, featuring more than 250 local and international speakers, including thought leaders, policymakers, and experts from governments, the private sector, non-profits, and global think tanks.
Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan emphasized that the Crown Prince’s patronage reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to investing in human capabilities to support a competitive, knowledge-based economy and a sustainable workforce.
The United Kingdom will serve as the Country of Honor at the third edition, highlighting strategic partnership and collaboration in human capability development. Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi noted that this designation builds on previous editions, including the launch of the “Skills of the Future” initiative, and reinforces cooperation in education, workforce development, and knowledge exchange.
Previous editions of HCI attracted more than 23,000 participants, hosted over 550 speakers, and facilitated more than 156 launches and agreements with local and international entities.
