Saudi air defenses intercept six ballistic missiles and seven drones in evening attacks

Riyadh, March 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi air defenses intercepted six ballistic missiles and seven drones targeting multiple areas of the Kingdom on Saturday evening, the Ministry of Defense said.
Defense Ministry spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said air defenses intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles launched toward Al-Kharj governorate.
In separate statements earlier in the evening, Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones in the Eastern Province, including one drone, followed by two additional drones, and another drone intercepted later in the same region.
Air defenses also intercepted and destroyed two drones targeting areas in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, according to the statements.
The interceptions were confirmed in a series of statements issued by Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense.
