Riyadh, February 2, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saleh Al-Jasser and Jeffrey Siow witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) and Singapore Airlines to enhance air links between Saudi Arabia and Singapore.

The signing took place in the presence of Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, who also chairs the ACP executive committee, and Han Kok Juan.

The agreement was signed alongside Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Changi Aviation Summit 2026 and the Singapore Airshow, held February 1–3.

According to an ACP press release, the agreement targets the launch of the first direct air route linking Singapore and Riyadh, supporting tourism and trade flows and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s positioning as a regional air-transport hub.

The route is scheduled to operate from Singapore Changi International Airport to King Khalid International Airport with four weekly flights starting in June 2026. The service is set to use A350-900 aircraft with 303 seats per flight, for a total annual capacity of 126,048.

In opening remarks around the signing, Al-Duailej framed the route as an addition to the international network and a step aligned with the Aviation Program under the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, aimed at strengthening global connectivity and competitiveness.

Majid Khan described the agreement as a milestone for expanding destination networks from Southeast Asia and supporting tourism growth, with an emphasis on sustainable impact aligned with national tourism objectives.

Goh Choon Phong linked the carrier’s return to Riyadh to the city’s business environment and development momentum, and positioned the new service as a platform for additional regional travel options through partner connections.
