Riyadh Air launches direct flights to Kuala Lumpur

RIYADH, July 31 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Riyadh Air launched its first direct service to Kuala Lumpur, opening the Saudi carrier’s first route to Southeast Asia.
The airline will operate three flights a week between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The route will provide direct travel between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia for business, tourism, trade and education. It will also serve Malaysian passengers travelling for Hajj and Umrah.
Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia Osama Al-Ahmadi joined officials from Malaysia’s Transport Ministry and Malaysia Airports at a welcoming ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
Riyadh Air is owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
