Princes and officials take oath of office before King Salman

Riyadh, February 17, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Princes and officials appointed by royal orders assumed their new positions today by taking the oath of office before Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.
Those taking the oath included:
Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki, Deputy Governor of Al-Baha Region
Prince Dr. Saad bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Member of the Shura Council
Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud, Deputy Governor of Madinah Region
Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Northern Borders Region
Fahd Al-Saif, Minister of Investment
They affirmed: “I swear by Almighty Allah to be faithful to my religion, then to my King and my country, not to reveal any of the state’s secrets, to preserve its interests and regulations, and to perform my duties with honesty, trustworthiness, and sincerity.”
