PIF named Official Tournament Supporter of FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America and Asia

RIYADH, May 14, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and FIFA have announced PIF as an Official Tournament Supporter in North America and Asia of the FIFA World Cup 2026, to be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The partnership incorporates two PIF companies: Savvy Games Group, Saudi Arabia’s national and global champion for games and esports, and Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia’s future capital of entertainment, sport and culture. PIF and its companies will deliver fan engagement initiatives and experiences throughout the tournament.

The partnership aims to foster FIFA knowledge transfer and capacity – building for Saudi youth, in line with PIF’s commitment to the sports sector under its 2026 – 2030 strategy. Saudi Arabia is the host of the FIFA World Cup 2034, and the partnership reinforces the kingdom’s ambition to develop football globally ahead of that tournament.
