Riyadh, Sept 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Noor Riyadh, the world’s largest light art festival, will return for its fifth edition from November 20 to December 6, 2025, under the umbrella of Riyadh Art, the Kingdom’s public art initiative.
The 2025 theme, “In the Blink of an Eye,” is inspired by Riyadh’s rapid transformation, reflecting the city’s evolving identity and its blend of historic roots with modern infrastructure, including the recently launched metro system.
Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, and Chairman of the Riyadh Art Program’s Steering Committee, said: “This year’s theme captures the momentum of change that defines Riyadh today. Through Noor Riyadh, we continue to deepen the role of public art in shaping cultural exchange, enriching daily life, and positioning Riyadh as a creative capital on the world stage.”
Noor Riyadh forms part of Riyadh Art, one of the city’s Four Mega Projects launched in March 2019 to transform the capital into an open art gallery aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Since its inception, Riyadh Art has presented more than 550 artworks by over 500 Saudi and international artists, attracting more than 9.6 million visitors.
The 2025 edition will feature more than 60 large-scale light installations across Riyadh, further consolidating the city’s role as a global hub for contemporary public art.
