Riyadh, November 14, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The world’s most-followed YouTuber, MrBeast (James Donaldson), has arrived in Riyadh to launch Beast Land, a new theme park inspired by his high-profile challenge videos, as Saudi Arabia continues its drive to become a global entertainment destination.
MrBeast, who has surpassed 100 billion views on YouTube, said the project gives fans the opportunity to experience real-life versions of his elaborate challenges. “It’s probably one of the best days of my life,” he told Reuters ahead of the launch. “One of the top requests I get is: I want to be in a MrBeast video. So now we are creating that in real life where you can come visit and experience what it’s like.”
The park, lit in neon blue and located within Riyadh Season attractions, features rollercoasters and physical challenge games similar to the creator’s “American Gladiator-style” competitions, including a game where the last player to hit a button falls onto a cushioned platform.
The launch comes as the Kingdom accelerates entertainment development under Vision 2030, led by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Over the past decade, Saudi Arabia has expanded cinemas, concerts, sporting events, and festivals after decades of limited entertainment options.
Riyadh Season now hosts near-daily events ranging from boxing and electronic music shows to sports tournaments, reflecting the transformation of the capital into a year-round leisure hub.
Donaldson said filming opportunities in Saudi Arabia were also a draw, noting that 70% of his audience is based outside the United States. He added that the Kingdom offers easily accessible production facilities for his upcoming video season.
Saudi Arabia has previously drawn global talent with major contracts, including Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s reported $200 million agreement with Al Nassr.
MrBeast has faced some controversy internationally. In May, Mexican authorities filed a lawsuit against a company they said worked with him after he filmed a video at ancient Maya pyramid sites.
