Riyadh, November 15, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Maraya Concert Hall in Ashar Valley, AlUla Governorate, holds the title of the world’s largest mirrored building, with 9,740 square meters of reflective glass panels covering its exterior—an achievement certified by Guinness World Records on December 26, 2019.
Maraya, designed as a cubic structure with fully mirrored façades, reflects the surrounding landscapes of AlUla and has become a global architectural landmark. It forms a central component of the “Journey Through Time Masterplan,” which aims to position AlUla as a leading cultural and heritage destination.
The venue features an indoor theater with more than 500 seats and is equipped with advanced sound and technical systems. Since its inauguration, Maraya — meaning “mirror” in Arabic — has received multiple international awards, including the Architizer A+ Award (Architecture and Glass category) and the Popular Choice Award in 2020, as well as the AIA Middle East Design Awards Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects.
Maraya also won the World MICE Awards in 2022 and 2024 and was named “Most Innovative Landmark for Entertainment” in 2024 by Global Economics.
