KUWAIT CITY, July 16, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Kuwait’s air defence systems were confronting hostile drones from Iran on Thursday, the country’s armed forces announced.
The Kuwaiti military said it was “intercepting hostile attacks” in a statement published on X at approximately 2 p.m. local time.
The alert came hours after Tehran launched another series of strikes against US-allied countries across the region.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a “serious breach” of international law.
“The State of Kuwait holds Iran fully responsible for the continuation of these attacks and their consequences,” the ministry said.
Iran’s military has not commented on the latest reported attacks against Kuwait.
