Kuwait condemns Houthi attacks on civilians in Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT CITY, September 15, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Kuwait strongly condemned Houthi missile and drone attacks against civilians in the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif, its foreign ministry said in a statement reported by SPA.
Several civilians were injured and a number of homes and vehicles were damaged in the attacks, according to the statement. It did not give a figure for the injured.
The ministry described the attacks as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
Kuwait affirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures taken to safeguard the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, stability and interests, and to protect its citizens and residents.
The ministry said Saudi Arabia’s security was an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the other Gulf Cooperation Council states.
