Windsor, Sept. 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump to Windsor Castle on Wednesday, joining senior members of the British royal family in a ceremonial reception marking the second day of the president’s state visit to the United Kingdom.

Middleton, dressed in a maroon Emilia Wickstead coat-dress with double-breasted detailing, paired the look with a Jane Taylor hat, a feather brooch, and a Chanel handbag. She completed the ensemble with black pumps, in contrast to the all-black outfit she wore a day earlier at the funeral of the Duchess of Kent.

Alongside her husband, Prince William, the Princess of Wales greeted the U.S. president and first lady after Marine One landed on the grounds of Windsor. The group proceeded to Victoria House, where King Charles III and Queen Camilla received the Trumps before a carriage procession to the castle with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

Inside Windsor Castle, the delegation attended a ceremonial lunch followed by a visit to St. George’s Chapel, where President Trump and the first lady laid a wreath at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II.

The visit underscores the significance London has attached to the U.S. president’s second official trip, which is unprecedented for an American head of state serving a two-term presidency. British officials have brought out the full pageantry of the monarchy, with the king, queen, and senior royals present to host the American delegation.
