Riyadh, October 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner (World No. 2) claimed the Six Kings Slam 2025 title in Riyadh after defeating Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz (World No. 1) in the final, part of this year’s Riyadh Season, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh crowned Sinner following his victory, attended by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan, and Saudi Aramco President and CEO Eng. Amin Nasser.
The match, held at ANB Arena, was broadcast live on Netflix to over 300 million subscribers, with tickets selling out ahead of the final, reflecting Riyadh’s growing position as a global hub for major international sporting events.
Sinner received the Golden Racket trophy, crafted from 24-karat gold, after defeating Alcaraz in straight sets (6-2, 6-4). The win made him the first player to win the Six Kings Slam twice and the first to do so without losing a set throughout the tournament.
In the third-place match, American Taylor Fritz (World No. 4) claimed victory after Serbia’s Novak Djokovic (World No. 5) withdrew due to physical issues following the first set.
The final marked the sixth meeting between Sinner and Alcaraz in 2025, extending one of modern tennis’s most competitive rivalries, defined by Alcaraz’s speed and Sinner’s precision. Their matches continue to be recognized as among the sport’s most tactically significant showdowns.
