DAMMAM, May 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra, will launch a four-day Eid Al-Adha program starting on the second day of the holiday, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

The program will run from May 28 to 31, corresponding to 11-14 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1447, and will feature more than 30 cultural and entertainment events.

The Saudi Aramco initiative said this year’s program will be held under the theme “Ithra Eid: Moments We Share,” with the center’s facilities transformed to highlight six cultures from across the Islamic world.

The visitor experience will begin at the plaza with “A Story in Every Scent,” an installation introducing visitors to fragrances inspired by cities across Saudi Arabia, from incense to floral notes, and their role in Eid traditions.

Visitors will also be able to enter a space inspired by a grandmother’s house, designed to recall family memories associated with Eid, before taking part in a live art mural created through virtual reality.

Over three days, Ithra will host a live musical experience featuring a contemporary Gulf voice. The program will also include “Tafassahu,” an exhibition examining the traditional majlis as a space of belonging, memory and cultural transmission.

In the library, Eid stories will be presented for visitors, while the Children’s Museum will host a virtual journey introducing younger audiences to Eid traditions and festive clothing from different cultures. Children will also be able to create designs using different techniques and watch a short presentation on Eid Al-Adha dress and celebration traditions.
