Ithra films screen at 154 international festivals

DHAHRAN, May 15 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Films produced by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra, have screened at 154 international film festivals, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The films include 123 works inspired by Saudi culture across fiction, documentary and virtual reality genres.
Ithra productions have won 60 international awards in 33 countries, reflecting the growing global reach of Saudi cinema.
The center said its support for the film sector includes the Ithra Film Fund, Ithra Content Initiative and Creative Solutions program.
Ithra also provides filmmakers with facilities, resources and mentorship to help develop Saudi cinematic content and reach international platforms.
