IRGC Claims Simultaneous Missile and Drone Strikes on Bahrain and Kuwait Bases

PARIS, July 14, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched simultaneous missile and drone attacks against military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait on Tuesday.

The IRGC claimed the strikes destroyed several facilities storing weapons and components for “enemy” vessels and aircraft at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.

In Kuwait, the Revolutionary Guards said they attacked a launch site for MQ-9 drones at Ali Al-Salem Air Base, destroying or damaging several aircraft.

The IRGC did not provide evidence supporting its assessment of the damage.

The group warned that continuing US military action would prevent oil and gas exports from the region and delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

“As long as America’s evil actions continue in the region, not a single drop of oil or gas will be exported from the region, and these transgressions will only delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz,” the statement said.
