RIYADH, June 15 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi held separate phone calls with his Saudi, Turkish, Iraqi and Egyptian counterparts, Reuters reported.
Araqchi told the ministers that Israeli attacks against Lebanon needed to be completely halted, according to a post on his Telegram account.
He also stated that the United States bears responsibility for implementing the framework agreement on ending the war.
The calls followed U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks on Sunday that a weekend Israeli airstrike on Beirut should not have happened.
