Iranian Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Stability with Saudi, Omani Counterparts

TEHRAN, July 28, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls with his Saudi and Omani counterparts to discuss regional stability and the Strait of Hormuz, CNN reported.
The ministers emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and advance joint diplomatic efforts to support regional stability, according to a statement published on Araghchi’s Telegram channel.
The Iranian statement attributed insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz to what it described as “aggressive actions” by the United States.
There was no immediate statement from Saudi Arabia or Oman on the calls, which followed a visit by an Omani delegation to Tehran for discussions on the Strait of Hormuz.
