DIRIYAH, November 21, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Hal Al-Qusoor program was launched in the historic At-Turaif district, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2010 and one of the largest mud-brick settlements in the world, known for its Najdi architectural style.

Starting daily at 4:00 PM, the program opens several palaces belonging to imams and princes to the public for the first time. The initiative aims to recreate administrative, social, cultural, and humanitarian life in Diriyah during the era of the First Saudi State through theatrical performances, storytelling, and interactive experiences that simulate councils and official events historically held in these palaces.

At-Turaif, distinguished by its authentic Najdi architecture, represents leadership and governance in Diriyah. Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Saud selected the site in 1766 due to its strategic position on the western bank of Wadi Hanifa.

Diriyah Season 25/26 positions the area as a global destination for culture and history enthusiasts, offering access to ancient sites that served as a historic cultural center for the region. The season features diverse experiences and innovative shows that reflect the values of historic Diriyah while integrating the Kingdom’s ongoing development.
