Foulath Holding declares force majeure on some operations amid regional disruption

RIYADH, March 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Foulath Holding has declared force majeure on certain group operations because of ongoing regional developments in the Middle East and the resulting security and logistical challenges.

Rapid developments in the region, including airspace restrictions, disruption to some maritime routes and heightened security risks, have created circumstances beyond the group’s control.

Those factors have affected operations and supply chains across several of its activities.

As a result, Foulath has temporarily suspended certain operational activities until conditions allow for a safe resumption.

The measure was taken to ensure the safety of employees, contractors and related parties.

Foulath Holding is the parent company of Bahrain Steel and United Steel Company (SULB).
