NEW YORK, November 7 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. children’s entertainer Ms. Rachel appeared on the red carpet at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards wearing a dress embroidered with artwork created by children from Gaza.
The upcycled dress featured a black skirt and a white bodice embroidered with cartoon-style drawings based on artwork by several children in Gaza. Ms. Rachel shared the names of the children whose work appeared on her dress in an Instagram post, along with visuals of their original drawings.
The performer, known for her educational videos on YouTube and Netflix, was honored at the event for her work in children’s media and for using her platform for advocacy.
Ms. Rachel has been vocal in recent months about the conflict in Gaza and has featured Palestinian children on her show, including a double amputee named Rahaf. In an interview with Glamour, she said her commitment to children’s rights extends globally and is not limited by geography, religion, or ethnicity.
The dress was styled by Risa Kostis and paired with earrings by House of Whitty. Ms. Rachel posed with her husband on the red carpet while holding photos of the children whose artwork inspired the look.
