Bahrain arrests four more over posts linked to Iran attacks, interior ministry says

Manama, March 4, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Bahrain has arrested four more people for posting footage related to Iran’s attacks, including content “expressing sympathy” with them, Bahrain Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry said posting such content “contributes to misleading public opinion and spreading fear among citizens and residents,” and warned it could harm security and public order.
The arrests are the latest action in a crackdown on content Bahrain deems sympathetic toward what it has called Iranian aggression, which it has described as “a betrayal of the nation.”
Bahrain is ruled by a Sunni Muslim government but has a Shiite majority population that has often expressed support for Iran, a Shiite dominated country.
