At Least 23 Killed in Fire at Entertainment Facility in India’s Goa State

Riyadh, December 7, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – At least 23 people, including tourists, were killed after a fire broke out at a popular entertainment facility in India’s Goa state shortly after midnight in Arpora in North Goa, the state’s chief minister said on Sunday.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said most of the victims were members of the kitchen staff, in addition to three to four tourists.
Authorities said the fire was caused by a gas cylinder explosion. The blaze has been extinguished, and all bodies have been recovered.
Sawant added that the state government will conduct an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the incident and whether fire safety norms and building regulations were followed.
