AlUla expands year-round arts and heritage programming with focus on exhibitions, research and residencies

ALULA, February 8, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – AlUla Governorate is continuing to expand its cultural and arts platform through year-round programming that combines heritage sites, open-air museum experiences, exhibitions and contemporary creative initiatives.

The governorate’s cultural offering includes visual arts, design, crafts, photography and cinema, alongside commissioned works, publications and artist residency programs designed to support knowledge production and exchange.

Archaeological areas and open-air heritage locations remain central to the model, with inscriptions and historical writings across multiple sites integrated into public cultural experiences.

Officials have also linked recent growth to international partnerships with cultural institutions, aimed at program development, research collaboration and attracting artists and specialists to AlUla.
