Riyadh, October 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Naif bin Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almarai Company, met on Wednesday with President Ahmad al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic on the sidelines of the ninth Future Investment Initiative (FII9) conference in Riyadh.

The meeting was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and Head of the Investment Authority Talal al-Hilali.

Discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation and investment opportunities between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Syria, particularly in the agriculture and food production sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding private-sector collaboration and sharing expertise in food security and sustainable development.

Prince Naif highlighted Almarai’s leadership as one of the Kingdom’s foremost private enterprises supporting Saudi Vision 2030, noting that strategic partnerships contribute to regional growth, economic diversification, and sustainable progress.

The meeting took place as part of FII9, which gathers heads of state, global investors, and senior executives to explore opportunities for international cooperation and long-term prosperity.
