ZATCA Sets October 31 Deadline for September and Third-Quarter VAT Return

RIYADH, October 20 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has urged businesses subject to value-added tax to submit their September or third-quarter returns and pay the tax due by October 31, 2026.
Businesses with annual supplies of goods and services exceeding SAR40 million must submit returns for September. Those whose annual supplies do not exceed SAR40 million must file for the third quarter of 2026.
ZATCA encouraged businesses to use its smartphone application to submit returns and pay promptly. Late-filing penalties range from 5% to 25% of the tax amount that should have been declared.
Businesses can obtain assistance through the authority’s round-the-clock call centre on 19993, its @Zatca_Care account on X, email at info@zatca.gov.sa or its website’s live chat service.
