Warner Bros. World Yas Island wins Best Theme Park in the World at 2026 Liseberg Applause Award — first Middle East park to receive accolade in 46-year history

ABU DHABI, May 21 — Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has been named Best Theme Park in the World at the 2026 Liseberg Applause Award, Miral said.
The recognition makes Warner Bros. World the first theme park in the Middle East to receive the award.
The Applause Award recognises theme parks for excellence in management, operations and creative achievement. Since its launch in 1980, only 22 theme parks have received the award.
Warner Bros. World, developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, is the region’s largest indoor theme park.
The park is preparing an expansion that will include a Harry Potter themed land and two new DC-themed rides.
