US Struck Iran’s Qeshm Island, Wall Street Journal Reports

November 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The United States struck Iran’s Qeshm Island, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing US officials.

Iranian state news agency IRNA reported several explosions on the island in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Journal described the attack as part of a series of limited US strikes in recent weeks. It said the operations had been kept small and undisclosed to avoid signaling a resumption of Washington’s major military campaign against Iran.

Earlier on Monday, President Donald Trump said an agreement with Tehran remained possible. Asked whether he was considering strikes after Tuesday’s midterm elections, he replied “no.”
