UAE President Meets Bahrain King to Strengthen Ties, Condemns Israeli Attack on Qatar

Manama, September 10, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at Sakhir Palace to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors.
The two leaders reviewed ways to deepen ties in development-focused areas, emphasizing their commitment to supporting shared interests and advancing prosperity for their peoples. They also reaffirmed their intent to maintain close consultation on regional developments.
During the talks, the leaders condemned the Israeli attack on Qatar, calling it a violation of sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a threat to regional security. They warned that such actions risk escalating tensions and undermine prospects for peace. Both sides expressed solidarity with Qatar and affirmed support for efforts to safeguard its security, territorial integrity, and citizens.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, along with ministers and top officials.
From the Bahraini side, the meeting was attended by several sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
President Sheikh Mohamed later departed Bahrain and was seen off at the airport by King Hamad and senior Bahraini officials.
