UAE president meets Bahrain king to discuss ties and regional developments

RIYADH, April 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Bahrain on Monday, where the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain and ways to strengthen relations in support of shared interests and development priorities.
The two leaders also discussed developments in the Middle East and their implications for regional and international security and stability, including maritime security, energy supplies and the global economy.
They also addressed attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and other countries in the region, saying such acts violate sovereignty and international law and undermine regional peace and security.
Senior officials from both countries attended the meeting, including Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Bahrain Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
