U.S. homeland security chief says monitoring threats after strikes on Iran

Riyadh, February 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on Saturday she is monitoring potential threats to the United States after strikes on Iran overnight.


“I am in direct coordination with our federal intelligence and law enforcement partners as we continue to closely monitor and thwart any potential threats to the homeland,” Noem wrote on X.


The U.S. Secret Service said it has increased security measures at sites surrounding protectees, saying the public may notice heightened law enforcement and federal presence around protected sites.
