Two drones intercepted north of Riyadh, Saudi defense ministry says

RIYADH, March 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s air defenses intercepted and brought down two drones north of Riyadh on Sunday, the Defense Ministry said.
Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, said the attempted attacks were thwarted after the drones were shot down north of the capital.
No further details were immediately released.
