Trump says US will back Israel if Hamas rejects Gaza deal

Washington, September 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday the United States would back Israel if Hamas rejects a proposed deal aimed at halting the conflict in Gaza.

“And, if Hamas rejects the deal, which is always possible... as you know, Bibi you’d have our full backing to do what you would have to do,” Trump said.

“Everyone understands that the ultimate result must be the elimination of any danger posed in the region, and that danger is caused by Hamas. The tyranny of terror has to end,” he added.

The remarks came as negotiations continue between regional and international parties to reach a settlement. Hamas has not issued an immediate response.
