Trump Promises Arab Leaders He Will Not Allow Israel to Annex West Bank – Politico

New York, September 25, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. President Donald Trump assured Arab leaders that he would not allow Israel to annex the occupied West Bank, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing six people familiar with the matter.

According to the report, two people described Trump as being firm on the issue during his meeting with Arab leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Two other sources familiar with the matter told Politico that the U.S. delegation presented a white paper outlining the Trump administration’s plan to end the Gaza war, including a commitment against West Bank annexation.

Israel has faced widespread international condemnation over its military conduct in Gaza, which local health authorities say has killed more than 65,000 Palestinians and caused massive destruction. A global hunger monitor has reported famine conditions in parts of the territory.
