SDAIA, ZATCA sign MoU to strengthen data and AI talent development

RIYADH, Aug 31 (SAUDI ARABIA BREAKING NEWS) - The Saudi Data and AI Authority and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to expand cooperation in developing human capabilities and national talent in data and artificial intelligence.
The agreement, signed on the sidelines of LEAP 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, focuses on exchanging expertise and knowledge in areas of mutual interest.
The MoU covers cooperation on training and awareness programs, data and AI boot camps, specialized workshops and skills development initiatives for employees of both authorities.
It also includes the exchange of knowledge, expertise and best practices, consultancy services and logistical support for training programs.
The cooperation is aimed at building national capabilities in data and AI and developing qualified talent able to use emerging technologies to improve businesses and services, while supporting Saudi Arabia’s goal of building a data- and AI-driven economy.
