Saudi, Spain Interior Ministers Hold Security Cooperation Talks in Riyadh

RIYADH, November 27, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held an official discussion session on Wednesday in Riyadh with Spain’s Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska at the ministry’s headquarters.
Prince Abdulaziz said the meeting was held under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen security cooperation in light of the strong relations between the two countries.
The ministers reviewed ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in combating crime and tracking offenders, countering international drug-trafficking networks and money laundering, and expanding the exchange of expertise between the two ministries.
Following the session, the Minister of Interior and his Spanish counterpart signed the cooperation plan between the two interior ministries.
The meeting was attended by several officials from both sides.
