Saudi Interior Minister Opens Command and Cybersecurity Centres for Facilities Security Forces

RIYADH, October 21 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inaugurated command and cybersecurity centres for the Facilities Security Forces during a visit to their headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The command, control and security UAV systems centre comprises seven specialized units and connects to 13 command and control centres at the forces’ branches across Saudi Arabia.
Its electronic systems receive reports, manage and monitor field operations, and exchange security information. The centre coordinates with the National Center for Security Operations to support response times and cooperation.
UAVs equipped with artificial intelligence technologies will support field surveillance within the forces’ areas of responsibility.
The cybersecurity centre is responsible for protecting data, securing networks and devices, identifying vulnerabilities and countering cyber threats. Its work is intended to protect technical infrastructure and maintain operational continuity.
Prince Abdulaziz also launched personnel services through the Absher Interior application, developed with the Ministry of Interior’s unified development centre under its Technology Affairs sector.
During the visit, he reviewed digital upgrades, including integration of the Mawared system with Absher and the National Unified Access platform, Nafath. Secure interfaces also connect related systems to improve access to services and streamline procedures.
