Saudi national team to depart for Houston ahead of Cape Verde World Cup match

AUSTIN, Texas, June 24 — The Saudi national football team will depart for Houston on Thursday evening ahead of its match against Cape Verde in the third round of Group H at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The team continued preparations on Wednesday with a training session at Q2 Stadium in Austin under head coach Georgios Donis.
Saudi Arabia will hold a closed training session at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Q2 Stadium before traveling to Houston.
