Saudi Maritime Forum to Examine Supply Chain and Seabed Security in November
RIYADH, September 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Maritime supply chains, energy security and the protection of subsea infrastructure will be among the priorities at the fourth Saudi International Maritime Forum, scheduled for November 23–25 in Riyadh.
Sessions will examine how changes in the global strategic environment affect maritime supply chains, alongside threats to energy supplies and security challenges in maritime transport.
The programme will also cover seabed security and technologies designed to protect maritime systems and improve their operational efficiency. Artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies will feature in discussions on strengthening maritime security.
International entities from more than 40 countries have confirmed participation. Attendees will include naval commanders, policymakers, experts and representatives from industry and technology companies.
The Royal Saudi Naval Forces will organise the forum under the patronage of Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
