Saudi Interior Minister Meets Romanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior

Riyadh, October 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, received H.E. Catalin Predoiu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Romania, at his office in Riyadh on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance security cooperation between the Ministries of Interior in both countries and reviewed several issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Acting Deputy Minister of Interior; Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Assistant Minister of Interior; Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, Undersecretary for Security Affairs; Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, Director General of Civil Defense; Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Aruwan, Director General of the Minister’s Office for Studies and Research; and Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Issa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation.
From the Romanian side, attendees included Raed Arafat, State Secretary for Civil Protection and Emergency Situations; Sebastian Mitrache, Ambassador of Romania to Saudi Arabia; and Silviu Dumitras, Director General of the General Directorate for Protection and Information in Romania’s Ministry of Interior.
The discussions underscored the importance of continued collaboration in security and civil protection, reflecting the strong bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Romania.
