Saudi Foreign Minister Joins GCC Coordination Meeting Ahead of UN Assembly
NEW YORK, September 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in a Gulf Cooperation Council ministerial coordination meeting in New York ahead of the high-level week of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting was held at Bahrain’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
GCC ministers reviewed key issues on the General Assembly agenda and discussed joint efforts and positions among the six member states.
The talks also covered current regional developments and their implications for security and stability.
Participants examined ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination among GCC countries in responding to ongoing regional challenges.
The meeting formed part of the Gulf states’ preparations for diplomatic engagements during the UN General Assembly’s high-level week.
