Saudi foreign minister holds calls with France, Iran, Qatar and Oman on regional developments

Riyadh, January 15, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate phone calls with senior officials from France, Iran, Qatar and Oman to discuss recent regional developments and efforts to enhance security and stability, SPA reported.
Prince Faisal spoke with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot, discussing regional developments and their impact on the region’s security and stability.
He also spoke with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as well as Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, with the calls focusing on developments in the region and ways to strengthen security and stability.
In a separate call with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, the two reviewed recent developments and joint efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
