Saudi FM Meets Qatar’s PM and Foreign Minister in Riyadh

Riyadh, Dec 9 (SABN) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Monday with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations, areas of cooperation and ways to develop them in line with the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries.
Following the meeting, Prince Faisal and Sheikh Mohammed co-chaired the Executive Committee meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council. Discussions covered the status of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and initiatives aimed at expanding joint work.
Both sides praised the coordination among the committees and working groups operating under the council and stressed the importance of maintaining progress to serve mutual interests.
The Executive Committee Secretariat presented an overview of the council’s activities, committee work and updates related to preparations for the eighth meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council.
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers signed the minutes of the Executive Committee of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council.
