Saudi Finance Minister Outlines Market and Investment Priorities at Money20/20 Middle East

RIYADH, September 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadaan outlined priorities to improve market efficiency, support private-sector growth and attract capital as he opened the second Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh.
Aljadaan, who also chairs the Financial Sector Development Program, said the third phase of Saudi Vision 2030 focused on maximising impact and building on earlier gains. He identified stronger private-sector competition and broader investment opportunities among the objectives for the period ahead.
He said the programme had helped develop legislative and regulatory frameworks, deepen financial markets and expand financing and investment options. Financial infrastructure was also being prepared to accommodate emerging technologies and new business models, he added.
The minister said the sector’s ability to support economic growth depended on managing change while maintaining confidence and stability. He attributed its resilience amid recent economic and geopolitical developments to strong regulatory and institutional frameworks, alongside levels of capital and liquidity.
Organised by Tahaluf, Money20/20 Middle East runs from September 14 to 16. Announced participation includes more than 38,000 visitors, 350 speakers, 600 investors and 150 startups from the financial and technology sectors in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
