Riyadh, Sept 27, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 will feature, for the first time, a dedicated area for Mongolian falcons, underscoring the prestige and high value of these birds among falconers in the region.
The section will showcase elite breeds from Mongolia, most notably the Mongolian saker falcon. Known for its large size, long wingspan, endurance, and variety of colors, the bird is highly sought after by both amateur and professional falconers. Its resilience in harsh conditions and rapid response to training make it particularly valued during long and cold hunting seasons in Gulf countries, where it often commands record prices.
Organizers said the Mongolian falcon zone will also provide a comprehensive educational experience, offering visitors insights into the breed’s characteristics, breeding, care, training, and role in hunting.
The exhibition, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, will run from October 2 to 11 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. It is considered the world’s largest event of its kind, bringing together falconry enthusiasts, hunters, and desert trekking communities.
