J.P. Morgan Private Bank Announces DIFC Branch After Tripling Dubai Team

DUBAI, November 2 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – J.P. Morgan Private Bank announced a new branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre after more than tripling its Dubai-based private banking team over the past 12 months.

Regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, the branch provides a dedicated platform to serve clients in the United Arab Emirates and, where permitted, the wider region.

The bank expanded its team ahead of regulatory authorization. Its regional leadership includes Selim Elgen, UAE market head and senior executive officer, and Karim Rekik, regional head for the Middle East.

The expansion adds private banking capacity to J.P. Morgan’s existing operations in DIFC, which has served as its regional base for corporate and investment banking for 20 years.

The firm has also received authorization to provide asset management services through J.P. Morgan International Advisors. Its relationship with the UAE spans more than five decades.
