Riyadh, December 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Saudi Falcons Club has announced the introduction of a schools round in the Al-Milwah race (400 meters) as part of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025, in a move aimed at expanding youth participation and promoting falconry heritage among students.

The festival is scheduled to take place from December 25, 2025, to January 10, 2026, at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.

According to the club, the new schools round is intended to diversify participant categories and broaden the base of falconers in the Kingdom. The initiative is also designed to support the transmission of falconry traditions across generations by integrating the practice into educational environments.

Officials said the program will enable students to take part in a national-level cultural event while introducing them to falconry heritage and basic training methods associated with the sport.

The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival is one of Saudi Arabia’s major heritage events, highlighting falconry as a cultural practice deeply rooted in the Kingdom’s history.
