Riyadh, September 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 will be held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, from October 1 to November 30, coinciding with the Kingdom’s annual falcon trapping season.

The auction is regarded as a premier destination for falcon trappers and the falconry community, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s deep pride in the heritage of falconry and providing an integrated system of services from falcon arrival to official documentation of sales.

Falcon trapping is a long-standing tradition requiring precision, patience, and specialized skill to capture migrating falcons without harm. Beyond its cultural significance, the practice has evolved into a seasonal source of income for falcon trappers.

In preparation for the event, the Saudi Falcons Club has intensified awareness initiatives among falcon trappers on the importance of responsible falconry and environmental sustainability. The auction is exclusively dedicated to juvenile maritime peregrine falcons, with no auctions for Al-Qarnas peregrine falcons to help preserve their population.

The club provides falconers with comprehensive services, including on-site reception by specialized teams at trapping sites, transport and accommodation arrangements, and electronic sale documentation in line with international standards.

The auction also features live competitions where falcons are showcased before audiences and potential buyers in a controlled environment. Events are broadcast live on television and social media channels. At the end of auction nights, awards are presented to falcon trappers in recognition of their role in preserving this heritage.
