Saudi defense minister meets senior United States officials at White House

Washington, January 30, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met at the White House in Washington with United States Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

They reviewed strategic relations between the two countries, explored prospects for the Saudi-American partnership and ways to strengthen it, and discussed ongoing efforts to establish peace in the region and globally.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, along with other senior officials.
