Saudi Crown Prince, UAE President discuss Iranian attacks, call for restraint

Riyadh, February 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call today from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which they discussed regional developments including Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and other countries.
Prince Mohammed condemned the attacks and said Saudi Arabia stands in full solidarity with the UAE, adding the kingdom is ready to provide all possible support in response to any measures taken by the UAE.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s stance and support.
The two leaders warned of what they described as serious consequences from continued violations of state sovereignty and international law, and said the attacks represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.
They called for restraint and stressed the importance of pursuing diplomatic solutions to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
